Privacy Policy

Blue Granite Properties (“Blue Granite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Blue Granite Experiences website and the vacation rental properties it presents (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the third parties we rely on to run it.

This policy covers this website only. If you complete a reservation, your booking, payment, and stay are governed separately by Hostaway’s booking platform and the terms presented at the time of booking. See “Booking and Payment” below.

Information We Collect

We collect information you choose to give us through the Site’s forms:

• Trip planning (Build My Getaway). Destination and getaway-theme preferences, travel season and dates, trip flexibility, party size and composition, pets, interests, your name, email, phone number, preferred contact method, and any notes you add.
• Property Assessment (for homeowners). Your name, email, phone number, preferred contact method, and details about a property you’re considering for management (location, type, size, current use, and similar information you provide).
• Creator applications. Your name, email, social platform links, audience information, content niche, and any other details you share about a potential collaboration.
• Contact form. Your name, email, the reason for reaching out, and your message.
• Creator campaign offers. If you visit a creator-specific offer page (for example, a page linked by a content creator we partner with), your first name and email, so we can send you your discount code.

We do not require an account or login to use the Site, and we do not knowingly collect information through these forms from children.

Information Collected Automatically

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) across both www.bluegraniteproperties.com and book.bluegraniteproperties.com to collect anonymous, aggregate behavioral information, such as which pages are viewed, which creator-specific offer page (if any) you arrived through, and which on-site actions are taken (for example, starting a form or clicking through to check availability). This information is sent through a strict, code-level allow-list that excludes names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, and any other free-text or identifying information you enter into a form.

We also use your browser’s sessionStorage (not cookies, and notlocalStorage) for this attribution data to remember, for the duration of your visit only, an anonymous session identifier and basic attribution details, such as the page you landed on, the page that referred you, and any campaign parameters in the URL. This information clears automatically when you close the browser tab and is used only to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and move through the Site.

We also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and the TikTok Pixel on the Site, which place advertising cookies in your browser. When a Build My Getaway trip-planning request is successfully submitted, we send Meta and TikTok a generic conversion signal so we can measure and improve our advertising on those platforms. As with GA4 above, these pixels are never sent your name, email, phone number, or any other information you type into a form.

How We Use Your Information

• Respond to your inquiry, application, or message;
• Evaluate a Property Assessment or Creator application;
• Understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used, so we can improve it;
• Send marketing communications, but only where you have explicitly opted in (see “Marketing Communications” below).

How We Store Your Information

Information submitted through the Site’s forms is stored in a private Google Sheets spreadsheet, accessible only to Blue Granite staff and a limited-scope service account used solely to write your submission. These spreadsheets are not publicly accessible and are not shared with third parties except as described in this policy.

Marketing Communications

If you explicitly opt in to marketing communications while planning a trip, your name, email, and relevant trip details are shared with our email marketing provider, StayFi (via CreateSend), solely to add you to our mailing list. If you do not opt in, none of your information is shared with StayFi or CreateSend.

If you submit your name and email through a creator-specific offer page to receive a discount code, that is itself your opt-in: your first name, email, and the creator/offer you came through are shared with StayFi (via CreateSend) to add you to a campaign-specific mailing list (“Creator Campaign Leads”), separate from the list above. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email you receive from us.

Booking and Payment

Blue Granite does not process or store payment card information anywhere on this Site. When you’re ready to book, availability and checkout are handled entirely through Hostaway’s booking platform, on Hostaway’s own domain. Any payment, cancellation, refund, occupancy, and other reservation-specific terms are governed by the booking and rental terms presented to you at the time of booking, not by this policy. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate the Site:

• Vercel: hosting and infrastructure for the Site itself.
• Hostaway: property listings, availability, reservations, and payment processing at the time of booking.
• Google (Google Sheets): private, internal storage of form submissions, as described above.
• StayFi / CreateSend: email marketing, only for visitors who explicitly opt in.
• Google Analytics (GA4): anonymous, aggregate site analytics.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel: anonymous advertising/conversion measurement for our Meta ad campaigns.
• TikTok Pixel: anonymous advertising/conversion measurement for our TikTok ad campaigns.

Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing the information it processes on our behalf.

Data Retention

We retain information submitted through the Site’s forms for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, evaluate an application, or as needed for our legitimate business or legal purposes. If you’d like your information removed sooner, contact us using the details below.

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, including restricting access to form submissions to Blue Granite staff and a limited-scope service account. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

You can decline to submit any form on the Site; doing so simply means we won’t be able to respond to that specific inquiry. If you’ve opted into marketing communications, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email you receive from us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the Site or our practices change. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above when we do.
